Iron Chef Potluck #1, Volume 4: Jodi's Gnocchi with Spinach & Peas & Ted's Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Jodi and Ted are not only the cutest couple possibly ever, but they both came to the potluck bringing their A-game. Fortunately for our kitchen space, they brought their dishes already prepared, but unfortunately for ME, I don't know exactly how they made them. However, I do know this: they were absolutely divine.
Jodi's gnocchi at first taste was a luscious cream sauce infused with spinach and peas. After a few bites a hint of spiciness seeped into the flavor, giving the sauce a tangy sweetness. I asked Jodi, and she informed me she had added red pepper flakes. Gnocchi can at times be a bit too doughy, but with the added vegetables it turned out to be a sinfully fiery pasta!

Hand cut and baked in the oven, Ted's sweet potato fries were just that -- sweet. After several meals of heavy, loaded food, we were grateful for Ted's light fries. Seasoned with paprika, cumin, garlic & oonion powder, and cayenne, the fries were also a pleasant pairing with Jodi's gnocchi.

Both dishes were scrumptious and adorably enough, served together. Ted and Jodi are already proving to be a formidable team in the Iron Chef Potluck race!
